The 2 Musicality of Movement courses are part of the 10 days art oriented activities of the Summer Academy.

Workshops in different fields of art, artist talks on different locations will be in the beautiful city of Makó located in south of Hungary, close to Szeged.

One of the MoM courses is directly related to the classical voice course with Eva Báthori, Hungarian soprano / teacher and coorganizer of the Summer Academy. Her students will be automatcally inscribed for the MoM course.  

The other course is open for actors, performers, movement lovers.

5th block: The developing scene. Focusing on reading the specific nature of a developing scene. It allows longer phrases to be born. All aspects come together creating poetry. The smaller elements become part of a larger context. We aim to listen carefully to the creating process and live through the moments with our imagination, which we share on the solid ground of trust and developed skills.   

Discover and stregthen the special qualities we all have as individuals, awakening our physical imagination, opening up trust in our senses and trust in others based on listening.

How do we relate to the 'now' or the moment 'before' or 'after'? What are the compositional consequences? YAMsession is an annual international event for creative professionals working in the field of young audiences development.

Producers Forum brings together the local young audiences production with international producer,directors and performance experts.​

This year Virág Dezsö as director is invited to introduce the MoM approach in creating processes. 

​

The production first performs live for the YAMsession with their existing work. ​

After they are whisked away by the producers and over the course of the next 2 days they work together to make a 'new production'.

It is presented again on the final day. The whole process is followed by the audience who is encouraged to give input and reflections on what transforms a good production into a great one!

3 weeks intense laboratory work includes: 

Approaching spatial composition through musicality - the audible, the visible and the sensible aspects - from a physical and theatrical angle. 

In addition to complete compositions, we learn the basics of how to work with theatre lighting as partner and scenographic element, understanding the relation 'performer-space-light'. 

The training process has a great focus on improvisation. 

The process is culminated in public performances on the 3rd week. 

The project is open for professionals in the field of performing arts with a strong experience within their specialisation.
